Specialist in orthopedics & trauma surgery
Dr. med. Tilman Hees
Dr. med. Tilman Hees has been a valuable addition to the medical team at ORTHO EINS since 2023. After completing his medical studies and receiving his doctorate from the University of Heidelberg, he underwent specialized training in sports orthopedics at renowned clinics.
As expected of a doctor working with amateur and professional athletes, he practiced a non-surgical treatment approach in his work at the Sports Medicine Charité Berlin and during consultations at the Olympic Training Center Berlin. Recognizing the cause of orthopedic conditions is crucial for successful therapy, which is why Dr. Hees places a strong emphasis on thorough examination in his medical practice.
He gained experience in orthopedic surgery in the sports orthopedics department at Martin-Luther-Krankenhaus under Professor Petersen, as well as at the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin. He also received a one-year fellowship in shoulder surgery from one of the world's most renowned shoulder surgeons, Dr. Laurent Lafosse, in France, deepening his knowledge of shoulder joint disorders.
He is passionate about his work as an orthopedist and is married to a gynecologist. They have two young sons.
